Bob Goff is the New York Times Best-Selling Author of Love Does, as well as an attorney who founded Restore International, a nonprofit human rights organization operating in Uganda and India. Bob often appears at various leadership and university events, inspiring current and future influencers to get to the ”do” part of life.

With a team of dedicated people, Restore International has pursued justice for the needy. Restore worked with Uganda’s judiciary in bringing to trial over 200 cases, including cases involving children who were languishing in jail without trial. In India, Restore investigated and intervened to relieve minor girls from a life of forced prostitution, leading to the identification and arrest of over 80 perpetrators. Restore now has a school in Northern Uganda called the Restore Leadership Academy.

Who are you?
What do you want?
I want to move from agreeing with Jesus to doing stuff with Jesus.
You can do a lot of stuff, but what is it that Jesus made you to do? If you do a bunch of that, then you will be a leader.
Ephesians 4 – Live a life worth of the calling you have received. Don’t live his or her life. Live a life of the calling you’ve received.
If you want to find out what you were called to do, let it develop over time. Don’t rush it. We see through a mirror dimly. It will come into focus, but it will take a little time.
What it means to be a father that loves a son is “Land the plane.” (He gave an example about landing a plan in a canyon. he let his son land it, they were terrified, but they landed the plan)
If we weren’t afraid in leadership we could live the high calling of the life God has called us to.

If you begin to see who people are becoming you will start to blow the doors off!
When you get to heaven, don’t you just hope Jesus touches you on the nose and says, “you rascal, I love you.”
If you want to lead strong in your communities say yes when it seems crazy to say yes!
Every single Thursday I quit something.
If you make margin in your life, jesus will fill it!
Why will God do that? because He wants to blow your minds!
Here’s the punchline. Why does he do this? So that no one will boast. It’s all about Him.
Be Not Afraid!
God’s ability to forgive us isn’t limited by our ability to understand it.
You want to get stuff right in your leadership, get the exclamation point right. Jesus is always the explanation point!
